Hello! My name is Marwan Mouneimne and I am a Comedian from Toronto, Canada.

Yalla is one my favourite words of all time. It’s an Arabic word meaning “Hurry Up” or “Let’s Go”. It can be said in fun & serious ways. One of the main things I love about this word, is it bridges a gap between other cultures & people to learn about my culture. It’s a fun word that I see people start incorporating in their lives when I teach them, my friends love saying it, and it just feels inclusive.

For people that are of Middle Eastern, North African or Muslim culture, this brand makes them feel like they’re being seen. That’s why I made this brand, when you’re wearing your Yalla gear, you’re not only representing us, but you’re introducing us to the world :)
